...so I plugged in my Ax with batts in, 'for at least 4 hours', ok. Then I'm installing the CD software....Active Sync tells me to plug in my usb cord once I've put in batteries or plugged in the Ax...I do this (WITHOUT TURNING IT ON) and Active sync doesn't recognize it....what should I do? Just wait till it's charged, then turn it on and set up Active Sync?

NEVERMIND.....I just read in another thread that , Yes indeed, you need to have the Ax powered up and ON -IN THE CRADLE , FOR ACTIVE SYNC TO RECOGNIZE IT....I'LL JUST WAIT THE 3 MORE HOURS TO CHARGE THE BATT....
