Time/Date stamp?

Is there a quick way to create a Timestamp/datestamp in a note? For that matter, is there a way to quickly input a block of text?

I've been acclimating myself to my new X3i for a few weeks, now. I'm new to the Windows Mobile platform, and I'm very impressed with it, but I used a Palm for many years before and I miss some of the features I'm used to. It was easy to do this on the palm with a few quick strokes using the "shortcuts" feature. Is something like this built into the ppc or is there a utility that can do this?

Can anyone suggest a site or faq with info for migrating Palm users?

Sadly, the option to insert a date/time stamp in PPC notes has been abandoned.

(The original Windows CE had this option)

However, PHM Notepad (www.phm.lu/products) is a nice free notepad substitute that supports single click date/time stamping.

(There are probably others)
