Question Dell Foldable Keyboard Question

This is probably a very obvious question but I can't seem to find the answer to it - thus my post:

With my old Jornada PDA I used the Targus foldable Stow-Away keyboard. I plugged the Jornada A/C charger cable into the keyboard, then connected the PDA. So while connected to the keyboard, the Jornada received its power thru the keyboard and I didn't need battery power the entire time I used the keyboard.

My question: Does this work the same way with the Dell foldable keyboard? Or is it powered thru the Axim's battery? Or does it use its own batteries?

I hope this question makes sense Thanks!!

I have the foldable keyboard for the X5 and it has a power connector so that the Axim can charge from the keyboard connector. However, you can also use it on battery power as well.
