Question message 'xxx' is not a valid PocketPC application

Hello,

I have downloaded several programs from several sources and receive the above message every time I try to run the install executable. One of these apps is the 'R75705' patch from Dell's own website!

I am using an X3i with PocketPC2003.

Any help please (I will use Dell tech support aswell!!)

Just had a search of the website - is it because these apps need to be run on a PC with the X3i connected and not run on the PDA itself?

Generally when you get that msg it is most likely a program that needs to run on desktop.

silent knight is right on the mark.

I think you'd also get it if you try to run apps for other operating systems (eg PPC2002 on WM2003).
