help...deleting contacts w/o it affecting outlook

Can someone tell me how I can delete contacts off of my axim w/o having them be deleted from outlook?

What are you trying to achieve? Do you want a subset of your contact list shown on the PPC?

If so then you need to tell AS to sync your contacts using catergories.

Or just tell it not to sync your contacts at all. Why you'd want to do this I don't know. Howard's suggestion is much better.

thanks for the responses...the reason I asked is because my wife and i share outlook together and when I synched my axim the first time i downloaded all of her contacts...I don't want top delete her contacts when I get them off my axim...any advice is appreciated
