Transfer programs to memory card?

Some programs install directly into ram with asking you were you want to install it. Can you move these files onto the memory card.
I have a 256 meg card I would like to install to and use the ram to run the programs. Can this be done?

I don't think you can just move programs .. you need to uninstall/re-install to get them on your SD card. BTW, every program I have installed gave me the choice where to install ... tell it not to put it in the default location, and then point to your memory card.

I know this wasn't a question directed to me, but, If I am not mistaken, pocket nester is an NES emulator that happens to be free. It's Downloadable from this site under the category "games" within the downloads section.

You can move a program just about anywhere you like, as long as you're willing/savvy enough to update the relevant shortcuts and Registry entries to point to the new location. I do this all the time -- I like having all my programs installed under a "Program Files" folder in Main and on the Storage Card.

I'd really love to learn how to move programs without having to re-install. Would you have any helpful advice on how I might learn how to do that. I'm going to start a thread on this topic as well.
