A company called KAMware has a product called ThemeMakerLite. you cant change the menu text color, but you can adjust the transparancy of the backgroung pic. from 0% (solid white) to 100% (actual picture). i was able to find themes on the web and adjust them as needed. great download.

Yup, you can also do this in MS Theme Generator by selecting the modify picture option.

To my pleasure and surprise I managed to install MS Theme Generator on my Ax. I can see it there in Remove Programs.

Yet I cannot run it by tapping it. Anyone suggest why?

The theme generator is designed to be installed on your PC. Uninstall it from your Axim and try again on your PC.

I download MS Theme Generator to my PC and get a message onscreen that states the application will be downloaded to my Axim when I next connect. I am easily confused I fear.

My problem is that the theme has the start menu as black, but it shows up as white on 2003. I want the original color black to be the start menu color.

Thanks ikehiker for the registry edit.
For those who updated the x3(i) to A02 and want the Start menu black back (from white), cut and put in a .reg file on your Axim. Doubleclick and you're set.
