which will have less drain on the battery?

hey, im just wondering which of these will have less drain on the battery, a sd wifi card or a cf wifi card?

no idea, but if you have only one model of axim that is a pointless question--the X5 cannot use SDIO accessories and the X3 just doesn't have CF.

i.e., you don't have a choice of which type of adapter (SD vs. CF) to use.

thanks for the answer but i have an ipaq which has both a cf and a sdio slot

the best way to determine that would be to check the specs on each one to find out what the power consumption is.

the manfacturers website should provide that information.
