How Long Should the Battery Last?

I have just bought the Axim 400mhz version and am expecting it to arrive tomorrow.
Being new to the PDA arena could anyone let me know how long the standard battery that ships with the Axim should last.

I realise that it varies on how hard the processor is running etc... but as a guide line..everyday use am i looking at 1-2 hours...4-6 hours from fully charged.

As the extended life battery is £80 + and I'm not sure if her indooors would go for that just yet.

I've had mine a couple weeks now and as a programmmer and admitted RPG gamer I've had mine on a lot!

While I have code compliling or queries runnning on my PC I'll work ;-) off my Axim and hav had it on for a good 4 hours without a battery warning. The ket though is to set the screen brightness to the lowest that let's you work comfortably ( You can moduify that setting under "Settings")

With only playing games, and brightness setting one notch above off, I can get a little over 5 hours.

I've actually heard the axim battery lasts around 6 hours under heavy stress, (music will cut off) but will keep going another hour or 2
