Which files to delete/ memory is low

I am so new to all this ppc stuff, that i don't know why i have one.

1. How do I know which files I can delete?

2. When I turn my device on, a little voice tells me "memory is low" What do I need to do?

First, go to settings/memory and check how much memory is left in RAM. There's probably not much there.

The best way to delete programs is to use the "Remove Programs" setting.

First, close all programs. Then, go to settings/remove programs, where you will see a list of your installed programs. Single click on each one and you will be able to see how much memory it takes up. You may have to remove some of these programs if more memory is needed. After removing the programs you don't want or need, perform a soft reset and recheck your memory.

If this does not help, make sure you don't have some huge-a** MP3 or a bunch or photo files in memory. Go to file explorer and take a look around.

I might suggest you buy a memory card and load the larger programs & files there. They are fairly cheap these days, unless you buy a huge one.

Good luck!

Buy as big a Secure Digital card as you can afford and install programs on it instead of the built in memory. Use a Compact Flash card for large files like MP3s and videos. I recommend minimum 256MB each.

My guess is you have a ton of open programs. Load switcher bar (look in Home) and close all the open programs. The ppc is not like a pc the X does not close programs.
