Question I feel so stupid!

Hello everyone. Thanks in advance for any assistance you-all may provide. I just got my Axim and loaded the software. I then plugged in the cradle and attached the USB. Everything seemed to be working properly until synchronization began, and that's when I received the following error message:

"Synchonization cannot start because this desktop computer cannot access necessary information. Restart this desktop computer and synchonize again. If the problem persists and this desktop computer is running Microsoft Outlook 2000, open Outlook 2000, click Help, and then click Detect & Repair. Otherwise, contact your network administrator".

Does this mean I need to install Outlook 2000? I am currently running Outlook Express. If I do in fact need to install Outlook 2000, can I download this or is it on the installation CD? Also, will 2000 capture my contact information?

Thanks again for any help.

Mike

Outlook and Outlook express are two different programs. Your installation CD should have Outlook on it. Don't download it, hee hee. When you start Outlook for the first time, I believe it should ask if you want to import your contacts from OE (Outlook Express).
I hope this helps.

You can use Outlook Express as your email client if you use this software.
