Maverick -

I've heard from a couple of different sources that it will be released for Axim X3 owners. I called Dell the other day and was transferred to their accessories sales dept. The rep asked his technical supervisor who confirmed that the upgrade will be availible, but wasn't sure when. I'm sure you'll see it on the front page of aximsite.com as soon as it becomes availible :)

Ummmm . . . No :). Actually, I haven't been able to get any Platform specific info. I would say, if they are going to release it, definitely for the X3, probably for the newer X5's. Not sure though. I would hope that they make it availible for all Axim models!!!

That link is old, and it was posted that Dell would rethink their position if there was enough customer demand. Based on the petition that was started, I believe they are going to offer it. These are the newer X5's, but again, they could make it availible for all the Axim series, recent and older.

I thought they renamed it the X5 advanced. That's the only thing that I can think of . . .

Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if they offer it for the X5 performance and not the basic, but then again, who knows. If they didn't offer it for the basic, I'd think it would be because they don't believe this model has enough horse power to handle SE. We can only wait and see . . .

You've got an X30 High on its way, so you're all set :)!!
