VPN Client in PPC

Howdy guys, I'm soon to be the proud owner of a WM2003SE PPC (whether it's an x30H or the rumored VXA depends on dell's timing)...

My question is this... I will be using this PPC @ my university, and they require VPN login to access the campus network... will I be able to configure the WM2003SE VPN client to access their network... or are there some VPN clients that are built specifically for certain networks (for example: will I need to obtain VPN client software from my university to access their network, or are all VPN's the same)...

I hope this all makes sense, and if it doesn't, let me know and I’ll try to clarify.

There is limited VPN capabilities in WM 2003. You should be open to the requirement of using a 3rd party client though.

Sounds good to me, but if the third party client that is offered by my university is not avaliable for PPC, will another third party VPN client be sufficient for accessing any VPN network?

(please do tell me if i'm asking dumb questions, i'm new to the whole PPC world)
