I just received my X30 today, and I love it, but am having a hard time figuring out where you change the screen from portrait to landscape. The second thing is in the settings - system, there is no battery indicator there for me to see how much of the battery is left. How do I get this back?

Screen rotation settings:
Start - Settings - Systems[tab] - Screen[icon]
You can also set one of your buttons to rotate screen.

I set my record button to rotate screen.
Start - Settings - Buttons[icon]


For your battery goto:
Start - Settings - Systems[tab] - Power[icon]

I was able to find the landscape feature, but the power icon is not there. How do I make it reappear?

That is odd, have you tried a soft reset?

After installing my keyboard, the system does a soft reset, then all my icons showed up, I have no idea what happened here. Thanks anyway for all your help.
