Just got the Axim.
OK Where do I get the photo software. Since my PDA arrived first and without the compact flash 256 which is back ordered.
I am trying to find the software on the disc.
I have a bunch of family pictures and I have about every photo software package available on my desktop from Photo elements to Photo Suite to Adobe.

2nd question how do I download my mp3's into the Windows Media Player? In my desktop I am using Media Player?

I thought I knew something about PDA's since my last PDA was a Handspring Visor.

Love the PDA, but a little confused.

Install the free OEM version of Resco Picture Viewer from the CD included with your Axim. While you're at it, buy Resco Explorer 2003. Both are top notch programs.

As long as you put your MP3s in a "My Documents" folder somewhere in your Axim, WMP will see the files. I made a "My Documents" folder on my CF card, and it works fine.

Where on the disc is the Resco picture software?
I have looked under Entertainment, Tools, etc.
Maybe I'm blind, but it doesn't appear to be on the disc.

When the CD Autoruns, Click play, then "Enhance Your Pocket PC"... you should see Resco Picture Viewer under "Dell Business Applications".

And yes, you should also pick up an Explorer-type program. Resco Explorer is very nice... there's also a very good freeware explorer -- Total Commander CE -- that's worth a look.
