In the fact that this is my first PDA I am not sure if what I am experiencing is a problem or not. I am using the newest version of Activesync, Outlook 2000 and Windows XP.

When I first sign onto my system Activesync connects to my Axim and begins synching. I then get an error abount not being able to sync with Outlook. It gives me a long explination about the possability of two folders being named Microsoft?

Now if I sign on my computer, open Outlook and then put the Axim in my sync cradle. Everything Syncs just fine??

This happens with tasks and contact (Outlook based) but nothing else that is being synced?? Is this normal. Does Outlook have to be opened in order to sync it?? :rolling:

Any help would be appreciated.

do u also have outlook express on the pc?
mine did the same,,i run express but installed outlook 2000 from the disc. u might think about doing away with express if u have it
