Microsoft Outlook 2000?

Please someone help!! Dell not helpful (as not able to understand my issue??) I just received my Axim and followed the instructions to download outlook 2000 from the disc then active sync . When done, it will not sync (I can't open MS outlook 2000 either, it asks me to enter MS exchange...) I do not want to use outlook but have been told I have to at least use it to sync my contacts and calender,etc..).... Sorry so long. Not very computer literate!

Just cancel out of any dialogs and when the program is done loading, go to Tools > E-Mail Accounts. Choose the "View or Change Existing E-mail Accounts". You will then see all the email accounts that have been added. Just remove any you don't want.

Yea, you'll need to use AOL Anywhere when it is released. For now you'll just be able to use Outlook for contacts and calendar.

That's OK! Initially, I only want to use my axim for e-book downloads, games, contacts and calender, appointments but I also need to be able to back up on my pc. And no, I have not been able to figure how to configure my outlook 2000. I did figure how to "uncheck inbox" but it still won't sync the calender and contacts. Any suggestions on how to configure?? Bear with me!
