Save on Axim without converting files

Is there a way to save a word doc onto your Axim without it converting it to a pocket word doc? I want to store files on my axim to send them in emails but I don't want to send my collegues a pocket version of my documents.

Any ideas?

If your referring to a document composed on your
axim you can choose to save-as a word 97/200 document.

Or, if your referring to a document composed on your PC
you can change the extension to something other then DOC,
maybe EXE or XXX. then before you send it out change
the filename back to DOC.
*I don tknow if this will work or not, but I dont
see why not.....*

I am also sure there is a way in MS ActiveSync to tell it
to 'not' convert these files....... but im at work right now
and dont have activesync to find that option.

Ok, I found this in the help file:

For files synchronized or copied to your mobile device

1 Click Options , and then click the Rules tab.
2 Click Conversion Settings, and then click the Desktop to Device tab.
3 Select a file type from the Desktop computer convertible file types list.
4 Click Edit, and then select a file type from the Convert to mobile device files of the type list.
