Worried X5 backup battery

Hi Guys

Quick n00b question for you all - is the Axim X5 backup battery rechargeable? I've found conflicting reports.....

My X5 lost all power, including backup battery, I've recharged the main battery but the backup remains at 0.

So, is it rechargeable??

Thanks!

it should be, its a li-ion batt and it should recharge automatically, try leaving your axim in the cradle over night and see if it fixes it

Hmmmm..... it says on the battery CR2032, I don't think its a li-ion.... therefore not rechargeable?

I take it you CAN buy rechargeable batteries....

NOOOOO, the battery is NOT rechargeable on the X5. I have personally replaced mine. It uses just a basic watch-type battery you can easily get at a drug or department store.

Yes, NO X5 has a rechargable battery

it is just a standard watch battery and only the X3 and X30 have the rechargable batteries

It's not rechargable.

I bought my X5 in July last year, replaced once in the beginning of this year.

And just in case more verification is needed, the Axim X5 backup battery is Not rechargeable. I have replaced mine once and am about ot replace it again. (They seem to last around 7 months, maybe 8, each)
