Sleep CF question

Just downloaded games to my pc documents folder copied and pasted to my cf card there under the cf card in programs and then i opened file explorer and opened cf card cant seem to open what is in there. did i do something wrong or am i missing a step please help thanks.

did you unzip or extract the downloaded folder first.....you could also install it from the PC...most PPC programs are designed like that...

I downloaded the file to my pc into the douments ppc file. then I went into the cf folder on my pc copied file from the douments ppc folderit copied to cf card but i dont know how to open it on the ppc. it shows it is there under cf card on ppc but will not open it what can i do thanks michelle

I think I see the error...you should 'save' your downloads to a seperate folder on your PC other than that one...did you open up the program and let it 'do it's thing' on your PC FIRST...before you dragged it to your CF card?

I opened the file in the documents folder it downloaded it to the ppc didn't go on the cf card I just don't know what I am doing i called dell yesterday and what i did he told me to do but you know how they are so I am lost

As was mentioned in one of the previous posts, most games/applications are designed to be installed from the PC. You install them just like you would install other software on your PC. Just make sure the Axim is synced with the PC when you install.

The install program should ask if you want to install the program in the default location (this is the Axim's Internal Storage). Select NO and then from the dropdown list select your CF card. The game should install onto the CF card. When you switch to the Axim the game should be there and ready to run.

Generally speaking, installation files that have a .EXE extension are most likely designed to be installed from the PC. Files with .CAB extension are installed from the PocketPC.
