Pocket Facelift Won't Go Away!!

DON'T INSTALL THIS PROGRAM UNLESS YOU'RE SURE YOU REALLY WANT IT...IT WON'T DELETE!!

Can't get rid of it. Folder keeps showing up in Programs. Tried removing Novasec Pocket Facelift w/ remove programs...won't go away. Tried manually in file explorer...won't let me delete pfaceboot which takes up 96.5 K in storage memory. I want it GONE!! Tried soft reset after to see if that would help. No luck.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I tried!

I went to the similar thread and tried that but I have no 'launcher ' in the area mentioned.

Eh?

I didn't have any problems uninstalling it.

Simply make sure it's not running, and not set to run automatically upon reboot.

Soft reset your Axim, and uninstall it. It's that easy. I've done it three times.

If you have any further problems, get a program that can shut down memory resident programs, there's a few freeware ones out there.

Try getting rid of the startup shortcut first ... File Explorer, My Device, Windows, Startup ... and delete the item for Facelift.
Close File Explorer and soft reset next.
Go to Add/Remove programs and remove Facelift.
After this, check your Windows, Shortcut folders for any remaining items and delete as necessary. Also check in Windows, Programs ... Windows, Start Menu ... and My Device, Program Files for anything left over.
Soft reset again.

Sorry I didn't get back to report I finally succeeded in uninstall. Just went out last night and had more than a few cocktails, came home and uninstalled via Async and a few more times on Ax and a few soft resets and it finally left.

Thanks for your time. This forum is the greatest. Some very sharp folks here and everyone is so nice.

There are a couple of pretty knowledgeable guys on the Dell forum that provided some help last night. I don't know if they're here, but they're darn good. User ID's are Codezilla and desiv. Very patient and know their stuff. If you see any of their advice...take it!!
