try a hard reset.

are you sure it is your axim that is slow and not that the clock you are comparing it to is fast?

you can check it here.

I was looking for a simple answer not a sarcastic one.

Check the timezone on your desktop pc, make sure
it matches the time zone on your ppc...

Your PDA sets it self to your pc's time when you sync..

i had this problem myself when i got my first ppc...

Thank you. I think that is it!!! My computer clock does sometimes run slow. I think it needs a new battery. Thanks for the help.

well to make sure you have the right time go to start --> settings --> control panel --> date and time properties --> 3rd tab (internet time) click on UPDATE NOW

and that will put you back where you should be then throw your PDA onto the cradel and sync up

Thanks. I just tried that and it updated my clock. Hope it stays that way.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I am new to all of this, my first pocket pc, first pda in fact, so there is a lot I do not know and it is so nice that everyone is willing to help everyone else.
Anyone know of any good reference guide books to help me learn?
Thank you. I am sure I will be asking for help again.

Lucy

For those without a 3rd tab...

You can get utilities that will sync your PC's clock to a time standard via the Internet.

The I use can be found at
www.itoolpad.com/products/timesync

NC.

I think you're onto something here, JP.

Something else to consider though..........it's also possible that the Axim is slow, the PC is fast..........and Lucy is just stuck somewhere in the middle, come to a FORK in the ROAD (so-to-speak), and can't figure out which way is the right way so simply decided to sit down and have a bite to eat.
