When you have several appointments in the same day and within a close time period, why is it that only one at a time shows up on your today screen and is there a way to change this, so that all appointments you have for that day will all show up on your today screen?

Not natively, but Calendar+ will let you do it.

Yeah I use that too but I have alot of appointments and I wish it could display them in a smaller font because it takes up too much of my today screen and makes it have to sroll down to have access to my app launcher, I think I'll look for another one that lets me keep it all in a smaller space. But if you today screen isnt cluttered with plugins like mine this is a great free alternative.
