Bluetooth woes
So I got my X30 mid, got a bluetooth adapter for the computer, and get all settled in to test out its capabilites......to find out I'm "special" when it comes to networking. Can I even access my wired (not wireless) network since my computer has bluetooth now? I've apparently paired the computer and Axim, but can't view files/do any of the cool things (watch Divx/play mp3s/etc) that other people can do. Help!

I'm not familiar w/ the computer's bluetooth connection capability (don't have it/never seen it anywhere else) but is it like a network connection (ie. does it appear in control panels/network connections, or is it a just a util that does the connecting? If it's the latter, you prob need to dl another util that will simulate a network connection using bluetooth. And sorry, can't help ya there either.

But you can still play divx/mp3/etc w/o a network connection. Just buy SD card(s) and put the media on them. That's how I'm sure most ppl do it.

I have a bluetooth dongle (epox) that is in my computer at work. I have set up a pairing between my x30(m) and my desktop. I can run activesync and use my computer as a network gateway. It took me about an hour to figure it all out by poking around in all the settings. I may be able to help you out.

Are you running XP?
Did you install the drivers for your BT device?
Have you visted the help documentation?

I remember this being easy to get activesync working but tricky to get the network gateway to work.

I haven't tried to access files on the desktop. I'll try on monday.

I'm running XP and I have installed the drivers. The dongle is a DLink DBT-120 if that matters. I haven't tried going through active sync yet...I'll post my results later
