How do you re-install Windows parts?

I installed Calligrapher which ended up not working at all and freezing the hell out of my new x30i axim. I uninstalled it but I have lost my Transcriber.

On another occassion, the left button which used to rotate my screen to Landscape, is not responding and says: Cannot find " (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename....

My question is, how can I reinstall a part of windows mobile on my machine without having to Hard Reset?

The CD that came with the machine, like all the other PocketPC's (ie my old Cassiopea), says: Windows Mobile SE, but you can find all kind of Junk in the CD except Windows Mobile SE.

Please HELP!

X30i? is it an X30? or an X3i? I have calligrapher and it works fine for me. Sorry pal, but a hard reset is the only way i can see you getting your settings back.. Make a good backup, and wipe it off..

Agree, a hard reset will fix your issue. Look at the bright side, time wise it's not the same as reinstalling an OS on a system..

I thought like WindowsXP you can ADD/REMOVE windows parts. But I guess I can't.

I'm going to have my first Hard Reset in my first week with AXIM.

no, its not windowsXP, so you can't. Atleast you reset before you got it 100% set up and all. Given some tyme you will get things to an even better setup than you have them now. I think this is the best tyme for a reset.

I did a HARD RESET, Calligrapher still did not work. Kep freezing and slowed down my machine. I had a similar SLOWDOWN/ FREEZE problem with BatteryPackPro.

Is there a problem with my AXIM's hardware?

Sometimes when the keyboard is open, it takes a while for it to close when I click on the icon. This is happening even after the HARD RESET.
