Question Mobile Dial Up

Hi all,

Having just received my new Axim (Fantastic!) i am getting myself pretty confused trying to set up a dial-up to my internet provider using infrared through my mobile. The Axim appears to insist on a country and area code and if these are left blank it insserts it's own and hence dials the wrong number.

I hold my hands up as a complete newbie here, i've been using a psion for years but if anyone can give me a quick guide on setting up a dial-up i would really appreciate it!

I've been trying to get my mobile connected aswell.

To solve your problem:

Go to settings, connections, Dialling locations, and then Dialling patterns.

If you set everything to G or g then it won't insert the country or anything in front of the number.

My problem is that it connects for a short while but then disconnects!!!
