I am going to get the 802.11b for my Axim, but I do need a 56k modem when on the road. Does Dell offer one or do I need to look at aftermarket?

Also, does anyone make a hard rubber ruggedized case for the Axim?

And is there a way to use an Access Database with this?

There are many database software packages for the Axim, but I've found Sprint DB Pro to be way on top. With any of them, you can sync Access databases, but Sprint DB Pro is the most sophisticated and user-friendly out there. Try it out at Handango.

As far as the ruggedized case goes, I've been looking for one too. Here is one that looks attractive:

As far as I know there is no Dell modem
but you can find several Modem CF cards (e.g. http://www.socketcom.com/product/56k.asp)

there are several programs that will let you use Access DB (e.g Handy DB or abcDB)
