Wireless connectivity problem..please help

i have a wireless integrated Axim X3i and have problems running the internet out of the cradle. i have a netgear router and i enabled the pda MAC on the router. i then manually input the ip address in the pda and now instead of a lock with an X symbol in the lower right hand corner of the PDA, i get a wireless step bar symbol that is green. i click that and i see that the strength and link quality is near 100%. the BSS ID that shows up in the DELL WLAN is the adress of the router and everything looks to be working great BUT when i go to open MS explorer and input a webpage, it says "the page you are looking for cannot be found" and i know these pages work because they open when i use it from the cradle. Anyone with any information to help me please do so. Thanks in advance.

Hello:
Hopefully, you’ll be able to help me. I have a Dell Axim3i wireless PDA. I can received POP3 e-mail via my Comcast account and connect to the Internet wirelessly (effortlessly actually) using my Liknsys WAP54G router. However, I am unable to send e-mail via my Comcast account or sync my PDA wirelessly.

Thanks for any and all help!

Bob

Predator,

Check the Troubleshooting section of the WiFi Guide linked from my signature.

Bobl,
Do you have authentication set up in the email account? (Page 2 of Options from Page 4 of the E-mail setup). Also, if you have anything in the domain field (page 4 of E-mail setup), delete it. Also, make sure the outgoing mail is set to smtp.comcast.net on that page.

For syncing, see the Wireless Sync and/or Troubleshooting page in the WiFi Guide.
