I'm wondering if someone could explain the settings under Start, Settings, Connections?

There are two settings, one is Internet Settings and one is Work Settings. When would you need one or the other? I have the Dell wireless card in my Axim and have 'My network card connects to' "The Internet" and it works fine. What is the difference between this and Work?

Also, there is a setting that says "When needed, automatically connect to Work using these settings:". At what point would the Axim know it has to connect via this setting?

For me, I access the internet via either my home or work LAN's. In each case, I have to use a proxy server rather than connect directly out. Therefore, I have all three choices in the "Connections" screen set to "Work" so that it uses the proxy server settings I have entered and also passes my logon credentials to those proxy servers. I never us a dial-up modem to connect to the internet and that is what you would normally use the "Internet Settings" choice for - dialing parameters.
