Program to watch and or encode MPEG to WMV??
Everytime I try to watch a movie after transferring to the axim, it freezes. Windows media player only plays WMV nothing else, what can I use to convert AVI to WMV? To watch on AXIM? except the windows media encoder cause it sucks.

afaik Windows Media Player is the only show in town when it comes to encoding Windows Media Video. Are you using the Pocket PC setting in Window Media Encoder? Anyway, I've always found that my Axim (x5)didn't play WMV very well even in Pocket PC. Try downloading Pocketdivx encoder for your pc to use Windows Media Encoder and Betaplayer for your Pocket PC for playback. If you looking for guides swing by the Multimedia section of Aximsite. Hope this helps and Welcome to Aximsite

I use windows media encoder version 9 for converting videos to watch on my pcoket pc. Along with pocket divx, betaplayer and pocket media player and it works. Encoder version 9 does a good job of converting media into a format for either pocket windows media player or divx or what not.
