Question When switching from an X5 to an X30, do I need to reinstall Active Sync?

I just got my new X30 high, upgraded from an X5. Do I need to reinstall Active Sync on my computer, or just delete the partnership and create a new one?

I don't see why you would have to reinstall activesync,so what you said...delete partnership and create new one

No need to reinstall activesync, just pop it in cradle to create a new partnership. I switched from a Toshiba e740 with no problem, did not even delete old partnership yet.

It's a good idea to delete the partnership first...

I did end up having to reinstall Active Sync. I tried not doing it and just deleting the partnership first, but I got a message on the Axim's screen about it being a non-compatible version of Active Sync. It is funny, since I think it was the same version. Oh well, it didn't take long to uninstall the old version (and it has an option that lets you remove the program, but still keep your files)and install the new. When I synched the first time it put all of my old files right on to the new Axim. Pretty cool. I didn't know it would do that.
