Recurring reminder to pay RENT.
What's the best way to have my Axim remind me to pay rent one day before every 1st of the month? This calendar is not very intuitive TIA

You can use Outlook to set it up on your desktop if it's easier for you:
1. Create a new appointment.
2. While the appointment is open, click the "Recurrence" button.
3. Click "monthly" in the recurrence pattern.
4. Set it to "day 1 of every 1 month".
5. Save the appointment.

Then synch.

Check it out on your Axim now... you'll see how you can add it directly in your Axim in the future.

Well, I just use MS Money and that tells me when to pay bills
But to answer your question, you can create it as a task or you can create it on your calendar. To make it as a task, just open tasks, hit the new button on the button left of the screen, then put in the subject. Change the start date to the first occurrence, then go to the ‘occurs’ field and change it to "day x of every month". x = the day you want it to be due. Make sure reminder = remind me, and hit ok. In tasks, every time you check it as done, it will automatically create a new one. Making an appointment in calendar is the same exact way

Money
Although my Axim is due to be delivered today, I did find some stuff prior to the purchase.

So, if you use Money on your PC, you can install an all that comes with the Axim (on the CD) that imports your Money DB. (It is also available on the MS web site, under Pocket PC 2002).
If you have Bills set up on you PC's Money, they should show up in the Pocket PC version.
