active sync wont connect

wen i connect my pc to my axim via usb it connects for like a second then the connection is not found...
therefore i cant sync....

wat do i do???

Is this the first time you have tried to connect? If so, did you install ActiveSync BEFORE putting your Axim in the cradle?

Help! i'm having the same problem.

PC say's it's waiting for my Axim to make a connection, and my Axim says there is an Error: "Unable to connect. Verify your dialup or proxy settings are correct and try again."

Have had my Axim X30 about a fortnight and have used Active Sync at least half a dozen times already successfully

GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Zone Alarm was preventing my Axim Syncing, even though I was using my USB cable. Not sure why, will post the answer if I figure it out!!!
