How to instal KeePass on x30?

I guess this is a stupid question but perhaps someone can clearify this for me?

In general, when I am downloading and installing applications (like Keepass) on my PPC, would I first download it to my desktop (I am talking only about the PPC application here) or would I first have to sync my PPC to my desktop and download it right into the PPC?
I would think that the answer to this should pretty much apply to every application which is intended for downloading/installing on a PPC, right?

The only files you execute and install on PPC ONLY are CAB files. Anything with a .exe at the end of the file name then it is a windows based installer that you execute from your PC while your PPC is connected through active sync and you PC will then install the program to your PPC.

Keepass, from what i can tell without downloading it is that it is a CAB file. So you will copy the file to your PPC or download the file from the internet using your PPC and then execute the file once downloaded on PPC. A PC and active sync is not required.
