New to the handheld world here. Just kind of curious to know is it safe to install all these 3rd party software like the ewallet, wisbar and the rest?
On the pc side, spyware is common.
How safe and secure is it when we sync the unit?

Generally speaking most of the 3rd party software vendors are very professional and wouldn't include spyware in their apps, thats like Adobe putting spyware in Photoshop you know. Thats not to say that there is a zero chance of getting a virus on your pocket pc, altough I have never had one (found any using anti-virus programs) I still check every so so soooo often.

You can search for these PPC anti-viri stuff online:

AVX for Windows CE
F-Secure Anti-Virus
Kaspersky Pocket Security
McAfee VirusScan Wireless
PC-cillin Anti-Virus

I find these more of a hassle then anything else but it dosent hurt to install check uninstall and repeat every few months.
