I am able to download mail messages forwarded from work, but have not been able to open the attachments...should be simple, I would think.

Attachments are generally not downloaded automatically. To download attachments, open your email, click on Edit and then click on Mark for Download. The next time you sync with your computer, the attachment will be included.

I have a question. I was doing it how you said (marked attachment and when I sync with computer, attachment is downloaded) and even I had a problem - I couldn't open the the files in attachments straight in mails (inbox), only "save as" was possible...funny. But after some time, and don't ask me why, my axim downloaded via AS all attachments and I didn't have to mark any...even I could open all files in attachments even without any "save as", I mean just from inbox. Problem is, now, after HR, all is again like on the start of this story and I want attachments without marking and "save as" in ppc...but have no idea, how to do it, but I saw, its possible.
