Is there a way to select landscape mode when using program like word?

As far as I know, without extra software you cannot. But you can buy add-on software that can change your screen orientation. Here are three programs that are supposed to be able to do this: 1. JS Landscape X , Nyditot Virtual Display , Tweaks 2k2 . I have not tried these, so you might want to use the Trial versions before buying anything.

If you search around on this forum, you will also find many threads about the PocketTop Keyboard drivers. You can download the drivers for free, even if you don't own their keyboard. These drivers allow you to rotate the screen any direction that you want to. I have had no problems with this method, other than the irritation it cause by making you soft reset any time you change the screen's orientation. But hey, it's free. :)
