You can't use that port on your hub as a connection for your Axim. It is not a USB host.
You have a couple of options.....you can get a CF wireless card and a wireless access point or you can get a CF wired Ethernet card. If you intend to browse your network (eg. shared folders and such), you have to have one or the other of these solutions. Conneted to your PC via the USB cable, your Axim can only see the machine it is connected to, and even then only as a host with no browsing.
