Worried communication problems

Trying to set up a new axim and "the wizard" from the companion cd says on the final stages of installation "problem communicating with pocket pc
please check your connection and try again.

I have tried the usb connection and even switched to another usb
plug in but still the same message.

Anyone have any ideas?

If you're trying to install from a windows NT machine, you'll need a serial connection, not USB. Otherwise, try a soft reboot and reinstall.
