Is it possible to beam all of the information from my old palm into my new axim? If not is there any other way of getting all of my information from the palm to the axim besides the old manual way?

Three ways that I know of:

1) Peacemaker - a program that many people have had success x-fering info from Palm to Axim

2) PocketMirror - syncing software that came with many Palm units (although I'll be darned if I know where the CD to my IIIx is today!!)

3) Yahoo - sync the Palm with your Yahoo Calendar/Contacts and then do the same back to your Axim

Haven't attempted any of these, so I can't vouch for the best, but hopefully one will work for you!

You can beam your contacts (I did) it probably isn't the easiest way. But it worked.

heysquirt - you said you beamed your information - why was it not the easiest thing. Beaming seems pretty easy but my palm can't find my axim to transfer. Any suggestions?

I had to put Palm and Axim on the flat surface and play with orientation of each device against each other. It worked every other time..... so you may want to try again and again.. and again.

I had a problem with my Palm finding my axim too. I found that if I went under programs and opened Infrared Receive and that seemed to help.

What I notice on beaming from Palm to Axim is that if I do one contact it is fine. If I send the whole address book I get one address on the Axim with all the information of all the address. Why can't it see that I am sending more than one at a time?
