Greetings everyone!

FYI: I'm a newbie to the forums, and I can't even figure out HOW I woud search for this (as in what to search for...), so I wanna take a stab in the dark and throw my thread into this...

Ok I have the faster x30 with the Wi-Fi and BT.. I love the damn thing! :)

I have seen some of the theme examples on www.pocketpcthemes.com and they give a picture of the Start menu with icons above the 7 applications that you set in your start menu. I quick example would be this pic:



Now right between START and Today are about 7 icons from Active Sync to Tasks... How do you get those there? And, because of the <sarcasm> fabulous </sarcasm> idea of Recently Used Applications... I have been searching high and low for a perm way to keep them from now showing up....

So... To summarize:

1. How do you create the neat icons in the start menu?

2. How can you prevent recently used apps from popping up?

PS. My FIND I can only include as one of the top 7 applications.. any ideas how I can put it at the bottom like that pic has it?

i think that may be aolder ppc os, i like it better that way tho

Definitely an older OS than WM2003SE which is on your X30. On the plus side when you switch to landscape mode the icons will be there as you use programs.

i know that if you add stuff to the start menu through sync it'll just throw them on there without the limit message u get when going through settings on ur ppc
