Not sure if this belongs here or not, but I am trying to get my Truemobile card working and am having no luck. I have installed the driver and the AX sees my AP but, I am not getting an address from my home router. I can set the card to a static address and still can't even ping the internet gateway. I have set the connections to Work and Work, with the Connects to Internet enabled. But the card still gets an Private IP of 169.x.x.x
Any help would be appreciated.

What Channel is your AP set to? I know I was unable to get my 1180 working on Channel 10.. I switched to CH1 and it works fine now.

Channel 6, but I changed it to 1 and now I'm working. Thanks.

I just got my TrueMobile CF card yesterday, and while I was able to get it set up and working easily enough, I can't get much range with it. It works just fine if I'm in the room with my AP, but once I venture out of that room, the signal gets weaker and weaker until I lose it altogether ... and that's in a room that's only maybe 50 feet away.

Any suggestions?

Move your AP around. I moved mine 1 meter (3feet) and got more range. It all depends on the area and whats near it.

Thanks, I did that and it worked. Much better range now.
