sync disconnecting constantly???

i need help with this problem.

everytime i sync my axim it disconnects about a minute later. if i try to transfer a larger file it disconnects in middle. it is constantly disconnecting on me. now i bought a sandisk 6in1 card reader to transfer files to directly. the problem with that is, if i want to transfer a song through real one for example, if sent directly to the axim it compresses the song into a smaller file. but directly to the cards i have to use more memory by just copying the file to the card. help?

I had the same problem. During large file transfers, it would stop half way through and disconnect. I also had problems with the sync disconnecting. I ended up getting a new usb card. After that, everything was fine. I can transfer what ever I want directly to ax. I've also been able to tranfer directly to the sd card while in the ax.

Are you using Switcher Bar to close ActiveSync on the Axim? Big nono.
