I've got another newbie question. Can I install programs without the USB cradle? I know I can activesync without it...

You definitely can. If you can connect wirelessly to ActiveSync, you can install programs via ActiveSync too.

Make sure you are still connected vis ActiveSync when you attempt to install. Also, keep in mind that some programs do not install via ActiveSync.

If you have a wireless router, you can purchase a wireless card (Like I did), and visit a site like FreeCabs. You can download these cabs for free onto your PPC, and install them without a PC.

I always install from .cab files, this allows me to install to my \Storage Card\Program Files folder . . .
