Compact Flash 822.11b card
I went to Compusa today and saw the compactflash card below. Will it fit my Axim 5>? Also the package on the Ambicom compact flash card states it can be used wired or wireless, is this possible to be used with my current wired system?

I have the AmbiCom WL1100C-CF card, and it works just fine with my Axim. It's not the lowest power card on the market, but I've used mine for maybe half an hour at a time and never depleted the Axim battery below 80% (and that includes the rest of the day's normal use).

If you plan to use it with your wired network, you'll need to buy a wireless access point -- there's no place to put a socket for a cable on the AmbiCom card.

In any event, $30 is a good price for it if you're thinking about upgrading from wired to 802.11b.

I also use the AmbiCom card. It has very good range as well.

I think mine cost around $30 after rebates.
