I don't use Outlook for my e-mail and I also don't use my Axim for e-mails, I am only interested in using the Calendar feature so that I can keep track of meetings, bowling tnmts, etc. I set everything up initially on the Axim, then synched, now the meetings, etc. are showing up on my desktop Outlook, no problem. But I am having a problem viewng everything on my Axim now. If I view the monthly calendar on the Axim, there are little triangles and/or squares for those days that have meetings, etc. But if I select one of those dates, it doesn't tell me what it is, there's nothing there. Does it matter that I set everything up on the Axim 1st? Should I have done it on my desktop first?

What you did is fine. You can enter things either in Outlook or in the Axim, it's the same. The fact that you see things in Outlook and see the triangles and squares in the monthly view of the Axim means the data should be there. Here's two possibilities.
If you see seven columns with a bunch of bars, you are in the weekly view.
If you really are in the daily view, you should see 12 or so lines, one hour per line, with the hour on the left. If this is what you see, maybe your appointment is in the evening and off the screen. Try scrolling down (vertical bar on the right).
You can also check the agenda view, which shows your appointments at the top of the screen no matter what time of day.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the reply. I went to the weekly view and on the day that I know I have a meeting scheduled, there is a dark blue block but if I try to click on it, it doesn't reveal anything, I just get a drop down menu for a "new appointment". I have tried soft resets to no avail.
I've used the agenda view also and on days that I know there are appts or meetings, it shows "no appointments". I'm thinking I must have input them wrong, I think I'll try to clear everything out of Outlook and then start over. I don't know what else to do.

That dark blue block is basically your cursor. When you open a new appointment, your cursor defaults to the earliest timeslot on the screen. By clicking on the blue block, you are telling your axim to "make a new appointment on this block of time that is highlighted."
Maybe scrolling down to the correct time of day will reveal your appointment? Other than that, I am at a loss.
Hope this helps!

Thanks, yes I did scroll all the way down to the time slot that I knew the appt was supposed to be, but there was nothing there.
Well, I have no clue why, but after deleting all the appts that I had previosuly entered, synching, then using Outlook on my desktop, I input everything all over again, synched again, now everything is there!!! The only thing that was different (in my opinion) is that the 1st time I input directly to the Axim, this 2nd time I used the desktop. But I had read that it shouldn't make a difference, so I can't explain it but bottom line, now I have my appointments, meetings, bowling tnmts, birthdays, etc. all programmed in, so I'm a happy camper!!! Thanks to everyone for their help.

In the same vein, I am having problems with my calendar. I am able to synch everything fine...contacts, notes, etc., but my calendar comes up with unusual times that I did NOT enter. It does not synch with my laptop. I look at the laptop calendar and MOST of the times are correct but a few were changed. Most of the times on the AXIM are incorrect....usually about 2 hrs off. Anyone else run into this twilight zone of calendar entries? Thanks.

Javin123, check the timezones and Daylight savings settings on both the desktop and Axim. The actual time synced is GMT, or UT, so if either is off, the appointment will look to be off.

I've been thinking about BowlinMama because her problem is quite perplexing. It sounds like the appointment is there, because she has the triangles and squares in the monthly view. I have never had a moment's problem with appointments. Is it possible you aren't entering a subject? The subect is the only think that calendar view displays.

deichenlaub - yes I did enter a subject both times (1st time when I entered directly to the Axim and the 2nd time from the desktop). I'm sure there was some step that I must have missed, I don't use Outlook that much (it's what we use at work but since I work for the gov't, I can't put any of that information on my Axim) so it's very possible I just didn't do something correctly. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to figure out what I did wrong on the 1st attempt but everything is fine now.

I've had problems entering info on the X by hitting enter on the keyboard rather than OK at the top.
