A basic question, but....

I've just received new new Dell Axim and am very impressed.

What I'm not sure about if if the round navigator button on the front of the PDA has four or five functions.

Obviously up, down, left and right all work but does pressing directly down on the button perform the 'Enter' action to select something.

I know the side scroll button does this but the manual is a little vauge.

Mine does nothing so I'm wondering if I have a faulty unit or (hopefully) it's just the the unit does not have that feature.

Any comments appreciated.

The button doesn't have the fifth function until you install the update found in this thread. Then it works as an enter key.

Surprised that given that I have a new unit that the patch is not installed by default.
