Problems with Outlook and Outlook Express after buying Axim X50v

I now can't send or receive e-mails using either Outlook or Outlook express error 0x800CCC0F.

All my settings are correct for POP3 and SMTP in both apps.
I also can't do either with Outlook on the Axim.

Internet Explorer works fine on all the apps. This seems to have surfaced since buying the Axim last week. I installed only the necessary apps for it to work.

Any one else experienced this problem?

I mostly use a web based e-mail account so it is not a great loss to me, just an annoying problem that until last week use to work when I needed it to.

I've seen the Microsoft results for that error too. It seemed a bit of a coincidence that it happend after installing my Axim's software.
All my settings are accurate and other user 's of the computer experienced the same error. Windows XP sp2 by the way.
Thanks anyway.
