i was trying to install quake, and the instructions said to copy files to folders that i needed to create, which seemed easy enough, but it seems to be impossible to copy files to folders for my axim, not just games but i cant move or copy anything to it...drag and drop doesnt work either....any suggestions..

You didn't give many clues to what you are doing that isn't working, but the best way to drag and drop files is to open Activesync, Explore, navigate to the destination folder and leave it open. Now, using the PC version of Windows Explorer open the folder on the PC that has the file you want to move. Drag and drop from one window to the other. It's that simple!

Jake, sorry, drag and drop isn't working for me, I have to copy & paste (which works fine). Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or because it's synched with Win98 ??

I don't think that Win98 is your problem. I haven't had any luck draging and dropping under Win98 or XP. The only thing that seems to work is cut and paste. Which in the end is fine...gets the job done.

I have also had drag and drop problems, and read about the same here on AximSite.
I haven't investigated it, but it appears to be a common thing (not sure it is Axim or PocketPC OS).

If possible I do this in active sync and [cut (actually)] copy and paste.

I'm guessing it is a Feature of Pocket PC!
