Sync to 2 computers?

Wondering if this is possible, and/or how much of a PITA it might be...

I'd like to sync my x50v to 2 machines:

- PC at work, with all Outlook appts categorized as "Business"
- Mac at home, for all fun/personal stuff

How does one handle the multiple sync sources? Does one side try to delete the un-recognized calendar entries that came from the other?

Also what about Contacts, Tasks, etc

I'd imagine this is not all that rare of a request.

Thanks,
Mike

Your request is not rare.

ActiveSync-ing to two PCs will cause both your PIM sets to be synced to both PCs. I assume this as undesirable for you as it is to me.

I use Intellisync to combine and sync my personal PIM sets into my Axim but be able to keep business and personal PIMs separate. It's at http://www.pumatech.com and offers a trial version.

Hope this helps.

Argh.. ok still futzin with ActiveSync, but am almost bald and gray over it...

I tried to tell it to only sync certain categories (ie.Business), but no matter what I do it still copies any personal appt from my Axim over to my work Outlook calendar... WHY?

Also, I told it to leave any discrepancies "unresolved", and yet if I delete the appt from my work PC Outlook calendar, it removes it from the PDA too.. criminee.. that just seems like an unresolved difference to me.. I told ya dagumit leave it alone....

help....

Will be reading up on Intellisync too..
